Sumus™ bag and bin solve the problem through a naturally aired out system:
If organic waste is kept in a plastic bag or any other closed container, evaporating water will leak and drag bacteria to the bottom of the bin, generating bad smell.
Sumus™ paper bags and aired out bins let moisture evaporate, preventig leaks that originate the enviroment for anaerobic bacteria and thus bad smells.
Paper’s transpiring natural quality and special aired out bin activate aerobic reaction yet in the Sumus™ bag, and the composting process starts right away.
This ends up in shorter processing time and remarkable reduction of slurry and bad smell for the plant.
Experimental tests have proved that after 48 hours, due to evaporating moisture, the waste mass reduces by 20%. Consequently, plant processing will also be reduced by 20%.
Sumus™ bags are made of 100% recycled one water-color printable paper, that can be added to the composting process. Sumus™ paper bags are 100% recycled, bottomed and winged.
Sumus™ system, certified as compostable CIC product, according to UNI EN 13432 rules, is the result of several experiments in order to achieve storage of wet organic waste in paper bags.
